'Tis the Season

We made the eciting decision to breed both Phoenix and Cricket to a gorgeous Paint Stallion with an amazing personality. Cricket has already had 3 foals with this particular stallion (all fillies) and they are all really calm and gentle like their daddy. I really never would have believed that a stallion could be this calm and polite, even around mares in heat...but he turly is magnificent.
And here is the man! This is Tex. Actually he is the SIRE of my little guy Ace :) Ace is an awesome, wonderful, calm little guy and I really like this line. Tex is the way to go as far as a stallion is concerned.

Phoenix caught on her first breeding and is 46 days along. Cricket has not been able to catch yet, we are going to have her cultured and flushed because most likely she has a uterine infection. Lets all keep our fingers crossed and our thoughts positive that she will catch on her next breeding.
