Water Ways

Kiwi has been having fun playing in the pond in the horses' field. He loves to get his feet wet...he even stands in the water tubs if given the chance!!

But..the pond dried up the other day..................

So we gave him his very own swimming pool! HE LOVES IT! As you can see in the picture below, he could not even wait for it to be filled before he hopped right in!

He makes me laugh all the time :)

The horses and llamas will be heading down to the summer pasture this weekend. It is almost 4 x as big as the pasture they have right now and it has a forest and a stream/pond. They will have much more space to move around in and lots more shade via the forest. The stream and pond will give them plenty of cool water to drink and lots of space for kiwi to swim!!

Nice warm sun!

Blaze and Cricket had a nice little nap in the sun the other day. Finally the warmer weather is here, however, we have been having a lot of rain.

Buck also decided to lay down and enjoy the sun, however, he was disturbed by two curious llamas!!

After checking out what the horses were upto, Kiwi decided that he too should lay down for a rest in the sun! Ah the life of farm animals!
