and the dogs

Here is Cujo the boston terrier. He loves to swim.....so much so that he tolerates the doggie life jacket and googles
And this is Sasha. Husky/German Shepherd. We love to dress up the dogs, and they love the treats we give them as a bribe to stay still for photos!

Cats??

This is 'Mister Ginger' the resident mouser. He was born in the barn last year and has lived here ever since. This guy is always up to something. Here he checks out Grandpa's van to see if there is anything good for little kitties!
This is Mister Ginger and his sister Suzie Q. Suzie passed away last year after an accident. RIP little one, we miss you.
Ebony loves the cats and spends her time following them and protecting them.
Joe, the stallion does NOT love the cats. Here he tries to eat Mister Ginger.

Ruby's fun

Poor Ruby.....she had to put up with me trying to braid her mane for 45 minutes! She was a good sport about it....I guess she was thinking "at least I don't have to do any work!"

ah summer!

Ruby and Gracie gazing on a warm summer day!
Yummy grass. Gracie is eager to get back out to the grass after being inside for several weeks with her lil guy. He is too young and too dark to be outside yet.
Kiwi having a snack
Muffin the donkey joins Kiwi and Ebony for some grass. One question though...you 3 are supposed to be guarding the sheep herd from predators....guys...uh...where are the sheep!?!?!?!?!

Gracie Training Time

Her is Gracie with her trained Pam. Gracie was in 4 months of training before she gave birth the Blaze. When he is weaned in october, Gracie will return to the arena for continued training.
Way to go girl! For a horse that no one thought would amount to anything Gracie is a wonderful riding horse, companion, and friend. This big girl is the most gentle horse you will ever meet! This is our third ride together under saddle. She is so calm and accepting. I think she likes the attention that comes with being a riding horse!
What a big girl! We love you!

The Llamas

Kiwi: 5 yrs
Kiwi & Ebony: Full brother and sister

Newest Pature Pal

Heeeeeeeeeere's Eddie!!!!! This guy is a 34" miniature horse. He a a good looking palomino and has come to live at the farm as our newest little buddie!
What a little sweeite! When he finally meets the big guys I will post photos, that should be quite the day!

Ruby's distaste!

This is my thoroughbred Ruby, she is not so sure she likes the new colt Blaze.

Look at me now!

GORGEOUS...

New Baby!

Here is our newest baby. He was born June 13th and is a gorgeous percheron colt. His mama was rescued from a meat auction. This little fella's name is Blaze.
